Really need to relocate to Silicon Valley, the digital / social media world there fascinates me

Old IBM computer_in Denver and California aka the digital world are two completely different worlds.  Denver is far behind on the tech scene, (among other states) but I live in Denver, so I'm going to throw them underneath the bus lol.

After attending tech conferences in California with Chamillionaire I have learned a few things; California will someday be my new home. The tech scene is where I belong and Denver doesn't have a clue what's going on. It's like living in Wyoming but you have passion for Kangaroos and realize you need to live in Australia mite.

I don't hang out with ANY tech oriented people in Denver.  All my friends are fairly clueless when it comes to all the digital stuff.  But this is where it gets funny….

I remember being fascinated by computers as a kid and it was a wrap for me when my father bought my first computer.  #Fact: We went through more computers in my house than Tiger Woods went through mistresses.  I remember before computers were in every household, like they are today, people would make "nerd" jokes all the time.  Funny how years later, you are reading this because of a computer.  Were you the one calling people "nerds" that liked computers years ago? If so, you better check yourself!

I'm noticing another trend, people seem to make fun of people for using Facebook and applications like FourSquare (speaking of Denver).  There is over 400+ million people that use Facebook, are you ignorant?!?! Let me repeat that….there is four hundreddddddd milllll-iiioooooonn PLUS people on Facebook.  Facebook is growing so rapidly, it's almost as common as email (the way I put it).  In Denver, not a whole lot of people that use Facebook have even heard of FourSquare (maybe the tech scene in Boulder). But I'm starting to realize that people like to poke fun of people that use sites / apps like Facebook and FourSquare because they are f%#$ing clueless!

As I recently wrote, GPS is the next hottest thing! You either get with the trendsetters or get left behind listening to cassettes in a tape player or putting your vhs video tapes in a vcr….probably still use a walkman too.  I think I need to just relocate myself to California, the digital / social media world over there fascinates me, just like my first computer as a kid.
