The power of HTML5 has been fascinating me as a web developer and I wanted to create a personal project that combines iTunes and HTML5. With HTML5 you can make audio and video tags instead of using Flash. After researching HTML5 a good amount, I really think Steve Jobs is right about the move of using HTML5 on the iPhone rather than rely on Flash. You can check out my new project in my Labs section called iTunes Instant. After using Google Instant for a while I was eager to create the same thing for iTunes. The final product actually came out pretty solid. Just type a song title, or artist name and it will automatically suggest some options. The right panel generates results of songs, albums, movies. When you click on “preview” it will make a HTML5 audio player appear which streams from iTunes a snippet.
