I knew the topless chick holding a football would get your attention. For those that don’t know I am a die hard Colorado Rockies fan.  I also watch the Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets religiously.  I wanted to come up with a facebook app that was sports related.  FanPride is my newly created Facebook application that automatically posts your favorite football team games to your wall.  For example, my favorite football team is the Denver Broncos, so I goto http://apps.facebook.com/fanpride/ and select Denver Broncos as my team and FanPride will post to my wall every time they have a game. Why is this cool? Because it interacts with your friends! When friends that are the same fan see the post, they will most likely comment on your post and opposing team fans might talk some smack!

The main app canvas page will show the current week games http://apps.facebook.com/fanpride/.  Eventually when I get enough sign ups, I will display the amount of fans by the team so you can try and recruit your friends to show more FanPride against the opponent.

I decided to test this with only Football games for right now and see how it does.  The good thing with Football games is they are 1 per week.  Baseball and Basketball play multiple times a week which non-sports friends might consider spam.

• Working on game timezones so it doesn’t just show MDT as default timezone, it will eventually show your timezone
• Possible Twitter integration would be nice to eventually include..which will Tweet every time your game begins.
