I’m an avid Facebook user, these are just some things I notice or should be changed in my opinion.  If you notice anything that bugs you, please comment below!

Facebook site

• When I block someone it should remove the comments on my profile, photos, etc. Currently if you block someone they are left on my profile.
• I think it’s VERY annoying when you comment or like someone’s status and that status gets filled with replies, therefore I get all the notifications, but really I don’t care what other people are saying after me.  For example say a friend posts “I just got engaged” well if I’m first to comment and there ends up being about 20 comments, I get 20 notifications of people saying congrats….that is ANNOYING! There should be a way to opt out of future notifications.
• Should be a way to turn off ‘Questions’.
• Pages has a setting that lets you choose your landing page, but after a user becomes a fan it defaults to the ‘wall’ tab and not the default landing page you choose.
• When I upload a photo and want to tag myself in it, it will double post the picture on my wall, which spams my friends timeline.
• What happened to the video link there is plenty of extra space in the update bar where it can still be added?
• Why 5,000 max friends for profile users? Should be unlimited like pages especially with the new Places feature.
• When you are a Page admin and click the share button within an app it doesn’t let you share from your Page, it automatically shares from your profile.  For example I made an iTunes app that lets artists share their music, each iTunes song has a share button, if the Page admin clicks that, it will share from their profile and not from the Page.  Facebook should make an option, if you administer any pages, a drop down appears that lets you share from your profile or the pages you’re admin of.

Facebook Places

• Places should show local friends and then out of state friends in a group.
• I think you should show recent checkins on Places on a sidebar (preferably left) below “friends online”
• Places is brand new I understand, but will there be a web version where I can check to see where my friends are?
• I recently just noticed that if someone has me blocked and they checkin with a mutual friend, it shows up on our mutual friend’s page that they checked in with the blocked person.  If they blocked me, I shouldn’t be able to see that, really worries me about the people I have blocked.
• Lot of users on twitter have reported that you can tag any of your friends with you while you checkin.

Facebook iPhone app

• Friend requests should have a drop down menu where I can add a friend to a list if I accept them like the web version.
• Facebook chat on the iPhone should replicate the settings on main Facebook web version.  If I have only selected lists to view me on chat, I would like the same on the iPhone app.
• Should be able to [like] comments like on the main web version.
• Notifications seem to be buggy, doesn’t always show the right amount of notifications I have.
• When I visit a Page, I have to constantly scroll to see the new updates of that user, should be a way to filter posts by the page and by others.
• Wall posts which have quotes from an app has a bug that displays html rather than quotation marks
