UPDATE: I just realized that Lady Gaga was not the first to pass the 10 million mark, Michael Jackson was (currently the leader)

UPDATE: Lady Gaga was first to reach 10 million facebook fans. Vin Diesel also passed the 10 million mark July 4th 2010!

Earlier today CNN was reporting that Lady Gaga and Barack Obama are neck and neck of the most facebook friends (which changed to likes) on their facebook page.  Lady Gaga just broke the record and is currently ahead of Barack Obama.  This reminds me of when Ashton Kutcher beat CNN in the Twitter race to be the first account to have over 1 million followers.  Technology is so interesting.  Who would have ever thought, 5 years ago Lady Gaga and Ashton Kutcher would be the most important people on social networks. That’s really crazy that both CNN and the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES don’t have the most followers/friends.
