One of my goals/dreams is to throw the first pitch at a Colorado Rockies @mlb game

CoorsfieldAs a kid it has been my dream to play Major League Baseball.  But now since I have come to the realization at 28 years old, that dream is far from reach, my new goal is to throw the first pitch at a Rockies game.  I use to run rockiesworld.com which was a fan site for Colorado Rockies.  MLB contacted me and told me I had to shut it down because I was using the Rockies trademarks without permission.  MLB is fairly strict on their content being distributed on the internet, however, it is their content, so I respected their decision.

I am a Colorado native and watched the Rockies growing up since their first game with David Nied, Eric Young, Dante Bichette, Andrés Galarraga, Vinny Castilla (Blake Street Bombers). Before the Rockies came to my hometown, I was a Chicago Cubs fan inherited from my Dad who inherited from my Grandpa.  Ryne Sandberg was my all time favorite player.  Watching Tulowitzki at shortstop reminds me of watching Ryno with his unbelievable talent.  He said on TV that he would rather make a good play than a big hit, but would trade both of them for a win.

I randomly ran into Tulo downtown a couple times and he was always had a good attitude and never came off cocky.  One night after a Rockies game I headed over to Spill and around 11:00 walked in Tulowitzki, Garrett Atkins and Jay Cutler (who I'm not fond of).  I walked by Tulo and said "I went to your game tonight just wanted to say it was great to see you play" and he shook my hand. I went up to Garrett Atkins "Mr. Atkins, I'm sorry to bother you but I was just at your game tonight and was wondering if you could sign the back of my ticket?"…."Ya, sure no problem!"

From time to time you hear stories about meeting athletes and celebrities if they are cool or dicks.  Every encounter I had with the Rockies has been positive which makes me even more a fan. Every story I heard of others running into the players said they have all had a pleasant experience. Working for Chamillionaire and hearing all the fans talk about how cool it was to meet him, shows how good of character Chamillionaire has with his fans.

The biggest experience I have had in my life would probably be jumping out of a plane because I lost a bet with Chamillionaire.  I decided to do it in a pink shirt for #beatcancer to help bring awareness.  The next day I got offered to be on CNN Live with Don Lemon.  I can't even tell you how cool of an experience that was.  If I got to throw out the first pitch to the Rockies game, that would be right up there!

Time to make this happen. With the help of social media I am going to try and make this dream come true….
