I noticed that everyone is telling their friends to follow them on google buzz and giving out their google profile url.  The problem is: privacy.  If your google profile link is: http://www.google.com/profiles/TechCrunch then everyone knows your email address (in bold).  So to avoid everyone knowing your email address, change your google profile link, first edit your profile, make sure you are on the ABOUT ME tab and scroll down to the bottom and you will see Profile link:

 
The first option you will notice is your gmail username aka your email address.  This is not good to have public if you don't want everyone to know your email address. Use the second option which Google will create a random long string of numbers to use. 

With Google Buzz being brand new, I'm sure they are aware of all these issues.  Hopefully they will make a better vanity URL to give out besides the long string of numbers and your email address.
