Just want to clarify something that is being falsely promoted by Sony.  Sony is claiming on November 16th, Shakira will be using Facebook & Ustream to premiere her new video…..and she is the first to ever do it. Imma let you finish Sony, but me and Chamillionaire did this already and were the best of all time! 

TechCrunch actually wrote an article about her being the first. After quickly learning she wasn’t the first, TechCrunch writer Jason Kincaid quickly edited the article:

Chamillionaire was the first to use Ustream for the debut of his music
video, Good Morning (which you can watch here). As we saw at TechCrunch50 he’s definitely ahead of the curve with regard to web services, so it’s no surprise that he was first.

I just want to bring this attention to everyone because I felt like using Facebook and Ustream was a great move by us.  After discussing with Chamillionaire, I reached out to Facebook & Ustream to make this possible.  Chamillionaire premiered his video “Good Morning” on November 10th which was before Shakira’s.  I don’t really care if my name is mentioned when I do stuff, but to have someone else take credit for my idea when I was the first kinda makes me a bit bitter, ya feel me?
